Marilyn was born on June 30, one of six children, and raised in Wellsville. After high school, she moved to Ogden to attend the Weber College School of Nursing, graduating in 1955. On her 20th birthday, she married Robert E. Froerer, and one month before her 21st birthday, she had the first of eight children, all of whom are now married with families of their own. She loved being a wife, mother, and homemaker. The things she learned while raising a family were as valuable as her college degree and during the years she worked as a nurse.
In February 1998, her husband left his law practice and she left her nursing career to serve a mission in Mongolia. Six months after returning from Mongolia, her husband passed away. Gratefully, she continues to live in their home in Huntsville, where they raised their children and where she continues to raise them, their children, and their children’s children.
